ONUniversity
Old National offers an in-house training department and accompanying intranet website known as ONUniversity. At any time, any team member can visit ONUniversity to take advantage of countless career planning and personal development resources including online assessment tools designed to help them better align their career with their skills, values and goals; leadership development book lists; and career and leadership development webinars and online courses.

The ONUniversity site also features a calendar of in-house training classes that are available to team members, pending managerial approval. Course topics range from sales-focused training to program-based training, such as mastering Excel.

DRIVE
Another leadership development opportunity available to all team members is DRIVE (Diversity Resource Initiative Via Engagement). Led by a multicultural group of team members, the DRIVE initiative focuses on professional development, networking and relationship building, and employee engagement.

Leadership Development Programs
In addition to self-directed tools and resources, Old National offers structured leadership development training courses for team members at all levels of the company. Examples include:

Gives team members a chance to develop transferable skills and knowledge, enhance their internal network, job shadow and gain exposure to senior management.

Our Summer Internship and LEAD Rotational Development opportunities accelerate learning and expose future leaders to career possibilities. Learn more.

Provides professional development opportunities to team members and seeks to improve retention, development and job satisfaction of team members from diverse groups by providing career skills training, peer mentoring, and opportunities to interact with senior leaders.

Helps participants gain skills and knowledge applicable to current and future leadership positions, and become recognized as a certified Old National leader.

Provides a mentoring relationship with a senior Old National leader, which allows each participant to strive to enhance his or her leadership skills.

Provides an opportunity for new, potential and experienced managers to learn transferrable and imperative tools to become more effective members of the management team, improve their current skill set and enhance satisfaction and self-confidence with results in strengthening our culture of excellence. Participants are nominated and selected by their managers and ELG members. Participants complete the program via online training via the Harvard Business Publishing online curriculum as well as attend 2 skills simulation workshops and monthly discussion calls.

Offers performance based learning to increase the knowledge of retail banking. It is a 12-month program that begins with an application in February each year and final selections are made by Region Managers. Participants attend bi-monthly in person training and are assigned a mentor from a banking center.

Allows team members to work toward and achieve an Old National specific Career Development Certificate (CDC) in Business Administration. Through a partnership with Ivy Tech Community College, this program gives participants an opportunity to achieve the Technical Certificate and even the Associate Degree in Business Administration with potentially no out-of-pocket costs.
