Nicholas “Nick” J. Chulos is Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Old National. Prior to this role, he was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at First Midwest, which merged with Old National in 2022. Before joining First Midwest in 2013, Nick spent 25 years with the law firm of Krieg DeVault LLP in Indianapolis, where he was a partner and held various firm and client leadership roles. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Washington University (St. Louis) and a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Elmhurst College. Nick is involved in several professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, Illinois and Indiana Bar Associations, American and Illinois Bankers Associations and the Mid-Size Bank Coalition of America. He is a past Board Member of Prevent Blindness Indiana and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana, as well as a past member of the Indiana Business Law Survey Commission. He also chaired the Business Law Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association.
