Old National Bank recognizes outgoing, incoming CEO Council members

It’s transition time for the CEO Council as Old National recently recognized the graduating members of our 2023-24 cohort who devoted much of the past 12 months to identifying unique business opportunities and helping gain fresh perspectives on how best to serve clients and communities across our footprint.

On May 8, we officially kicked off the third cohort of our CEO Council (listed below) in Chicago. The 14-member Council is guided by Corliss Garner, Chief DE&I Officer, and is sponsored by Carrie Ellspermann, Rafael Sanchez and Roland Shelton.

“The Council participants represent client segments and support areas and geographies throughout our ONB footprint,” explained Corliss Garner. “The program is designed to prepare them for future roles as executive leaders within the organization while participating in real life project-based learning. They focus on multiple elements such as professional development, cultural competence, mentoring relationships and community engagement.”

Two recent CEO Council graduates shared the following about their experience.

“My number one goal in the CEO Council program was to walk away with complete clarity about what I needed to lead with confidence, deepen relationships, and sustain holistic growth – personally and professionally,” said Jasmine Coit, Learning and Development Specialist. “I am no longer afraid to embrace and represent all that makes me, ‘Me.’ I have the CEO Council to thank for that. My experience went above and beyond my hopes and expectations!”

“If I had to choose one word to describe my experience on the CEO Council, it would be ‘growth,’” said Abdullah Tadros, Senior Vice President, Middle Market Credit. “Our group delved into vulnerable conversations, challenged assumptions, and shared valuable perspectives that stimulated our curiosity muscles. Now that we have graduated, and as stewards of the CEO Council, it is incumbent on each of us to continue doing the good work that leads us to ‘winning in all our markets.’”

In addition to Jasmine and Abdullah, graduating 2023-24 CEO Council members were Mohammed Abunada, Nyella Adams, Joannette Cintrón, Armenta Gallon, Annie Hills, Heather Jacobson, Tracy Meeks, Mary Penta, Santiago Rodriguez, Edin Salkic, and LaToya Williams.
